CBF meets 1.25 miles east of Medicine Lodge, Kansas at the intersection of Curry Lane and the Isabel Road.
Medicine Lodge is a town of about 2,000 in south central Kansas. It is at the intersection of US 281 and US 160, about 80 miles southwest of Wichita.
Directions
If you are coming to CBF from out of town, follow these directions to the building.
From the East
Take US 160 towards Medicine Lodge. As you approach town, you will pass a highway department maintenance area with a sand/salt dome, on the left. Soon after that the highway curves and goes northwest for about 2 miles. Where it straightens out to go west again, you will see the Heritage Center on the right, a recent metal building. Turn right at that corner, which is Isabel Road.
Take Isabel Road north for not quite a mile. Watch for the church building on the left. When you see it, look for the church sign next to the driveway. Turn left into the driveway and veer left to park in the sanctuary parking lot. Veer right to go behind the building and park in the fellowship hall parking lot.
From the West
Take US 160 to Medicine Lodge. Go all the way through town and look for the golf course on the right. Turn left at the next paved road, which is Isabel Road. There is a house and large shop building on the northwest corner of the intersection, and the Heritage Center, a recent metal building, on the northeast corner. Once on Isabel Road, follow the directions from the east above.
From the North or South
Take US 281 to US 160 and go east on US 160. Follow the directions above for people coming from the west.
I’m coming from the north. Wouldn’t it be shorter to go through the north part of town?
You may try doing that if you wish, but US 160 is the only east-west street that goes all the way through town. If you don’t know Medicine Lodge, it is easier and faster to use 160.
